Wow! What do you mean Leo? I mean, God desires us to be in fellowship with him through faith in Christ Jesus (Jn 3:14-18; Jn 15:1-10). But how do we begin to show him that we really LOVE Jesus?
There are TWO basic things have transformed my Christian life and may help you experience same. TWO THINGS ONLY! Never mind. Every other thing finds it achor in these two things. I hear he some asking what about fellowship? worship? evangelism? missions? Lord supper? etc. Well, we shall not go into detail here but suffice it to say that No man or woman who is faithful to these TWO THINGS finds other spiritual disciplines burdensome. For example, Christian fellowship is only sweet and exciting when you meet with believers who do not compromise their commitment to these TWO THINGS. What are these TWO THINGS ONLY?

1. GOD’S WORD.
God’s Word is God himself. God has revealed himself to us in the Bible. By it he communicates, chats, guides and blesses those who love him. God is consistent and faithful to his Word as it is documented in the Bible. I love the Bible. What about you?
Hear what God told Joshua when he needed help (pleas read it. Don’t assume):
The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going. And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed. Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.”-Josh 1:8-9 msg.
We all need strength and courage to acomplish new and great things. We also need streng and courage to cope with the challenges life is throwing at us daily. But it is when we spend time listening to God that his word makes us strong and courageous.
2. YOUR PRAYER LIFE
I mean YOUR prayer life. Most time when we hear people talk about pray we think of others praying not us. We think prayer is for pastors, reverends, prophets, leaders, elders, bishops etc. NO! NO! Secondly, it seems prayer is too familiar to some of us so much that we are looking for bigger ideas or harder ways to engage with God. No! No! It is YOUR PERSONAL prayer that God wants to hear. He is waiting and longing to hear from you. What do you think? All you need to do now is to start telling God how happy you are, or how sad you are, or the plans you have.
God like hearing stuff from you: all his friends, his children or his servants. Go to him and be honest to tell him just as it is. Have you tried it before? Why not now? You can also tell him about your friends on Facebook, Twiter, at work or school. It is amazing when you see God answers your prayer. When he delays, however, do not give up. Continue to pray. He will surely show up at the right time.
Remember, prayer is a personal and intimate communication with God. God can keep confidence more than anyone or anything on earth. Try telling him intimate secrets and see that no one can hawk his conversation line.
So go ahead and tell him all the sweet things, all the bitter things, all the secret things, ALL and ALL things that you could remember. Do you see how and why it is possible to pray without ceasing?
Apostle Paul admonished believers, especially the whole church in Thessalonica, to rejoice always and pray without CEASING -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Hmmmm. I love this ooo. It seems the Bible is telling us that Christians who pray without ceasing always rejoice. I like it. What about you? Well, don’t forget to pray in the name of Jesus (Jn 14:13; Lk 11:9).
Now let us pray together. Lord, help me to share and talk with you always so that I can rejoice always.
BLESSED ARE YOU IF YOU DO THESE TWO THINGS BY FAITH.
GOD BLESS YOU FOR READING.
